Toshiba Breaks DVD Spot From nFusion

DALLAS Toshiba America today released an nFusion commercial for its high-definition DVD technology, the company said.

The Austin, Texas-based agency, which previously had done ads for the Toshiba digital products division’s notebook computers, won the DVD business in a pitch earlier this year, the shop said. The value of the account was not disclosed.

The new spot uses “Technology you can see, innovation you can feel” as a tagline. It opens with a notebook user inserting a disk into his computer and segues to a screen followed by images of people watching a big-screen TV.

The new campaign launched during the Toshiba Classic golf tournament on the Golf Channel and Fox Sports Network.

The nFusion shop has been creating integrated marketing campaigns for the Toshiba digital products division since March 2004.

Toshiba America is the holding company for five Toshiba operating companies in the United States, employing more than 10,000 people.
