Topaz Adds 2 Social Media Clients

BOSTON Independent Topaz Partners in Woburn, Mass., said it recently added Prospero Technologies and Brijit to its growing roster of social-media technology clients.

Prospero’s hosted community solutions help organizations develop custom-branded applications such as message boards, blogs, live chats, event chats, wikis and polls to encourage site visitors to participate, rate, review, comment and submit their content. Topaz is working with Prospero to provide media, blogger and analyst relations.

Brijit aggregates long-form media content by offering readers 100-word abstracts produced by a network of writers and editors. Each abstract provides a summary, review, and rating, along with a link to the underlying content from The New York Times, The Harvard Business Review, Slate and The Colbert Report, among others. Topaz is providing strategic communications advice, blog monitoring and outreach and other services to Brijit.

“Topaz Partners has built a reputation for its work with providers of new and innovative technologies, and Prospero and Brijit are a reflection of the exciting developments in the world of social media,” said Tony Sapienza, Topaz co-founder and principal partner, in a statement.

“With both Prospero and Brijit, we’re doing more than telling compelling social media technology stories—we’re also using social media techniques to spread the word through the growing online community,” he said.
