Top 10 Reasons to Enjoy Minneapolis Art

CHICAGO The Walker Art Center has launched its first institutional image campaign that promotes the different ways to spend time at the museum.

The campaign begins in and around Minneapolis, where the center is located, with a series of print and outdoor ads. The work encompasses 10 different “Art as …” scenarios that highlight visitors experiences at the Walker Art Center.

In “Art as Catalyst,” visitors inspired by a Walker concert are seen drawing. Another ad, “Art as Escape,” presents a young couple quietly sharing reflective time in the museum’s garden.

The campaign was created in-house and was made possible through support from the Lila Wallace-Reader’s Digest Fund and Target Corp.
