NEW YORK Tommy Hilfiger U.S.A. has teamed up with Yahoo for a sponsorship deal that will showcase new and emerging artists, like country star Jimmy Wayne, the companies said.

The sponsorship will help promote Tommy Jeans Stage, a program that supports up-and-coming musical acts by featuring their pre-show performances on branded plaza stages located outside main Clear Channel Entertainment amphitheaters.

As a part of the deal, Tommy Jeans Stage has secured branding rights on the Emerging Artist of the Month section of Yahoo’s music destination, Launch (www.launch.yahoo.com).
