DALLAS Tom Hansen has been named chief marketing officer at TM Advertising, where he will take a leading role in developing new business, the agency said.

Hansen, 48, is a former partner and co-founder of Dallas independent Square One. He also worked with TM chairman and chief creative officer Jim Ferguson at Leo Burnett in Chicago.

“Having worked with Tom at Leo Burnett years ago, and then watching his success with Square One, I know that Tom has what it takes to make things happen,” Ferguson said.
