NEW YORK Yahoo! is promoting its shopping portal this Friday and Saturday by bringing a snow globe to Times Square that will house Santa and his elves, who will show consumers how to search for and compare products on the property.
The 18-foot-tall snow globe, created by Absolute Hollywood, will contain Wi-Fi Internet kiosks. The installation boasts a 16-foot diameter, according to a Yahoo! representative.
Visitors will also be able to take digital photos with Santa, which will be uploaded to a Web site, where they can view and send them to friends and family.
