Thomson’s Premiere Inks Content Deal With GSN

Thomson’s Premiere Retail Networks inked a content deal with Game Show Network (GSN) for its PRN Checkout TV network in supermarkets, PRN announced Tuesday (July 22). Through August 3, a customized trivia game called Catch 21 in Line based on GSN’s new game show Catch 21 will run in 1,004 supermarkets that have PRN’s Checkout TV.

Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro, shoppers are invited to play the game by answering trivia questions worth a total of 21 points.

“This alliance provides an integrated way for GSN to promote one of their new shows on our network while providing shoppers with fun and engaging content that helps our retail partners leave a positive experience with their customers” said Richard Fisher, president of PRN.

In addition to GSN, PRN’s other program partners include TV networks such as NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, Discovery and other media properties, movie studios, record labels, magazines and newspaper publishers.
