Makeup can be a means of revolutionizing your own appearance. Now London cosmetics brand Revolution Beauty is working with TikTok to lead a resistance against traditional beauty standards with #CreatorRevolution, a “modern-day beauty pageant for the digital age.”

A six-month campaign open to content creators around the globe, #CreatorRevolution rivals the conventions of processions in the same vein by allowing almost anyone to be a contestant and decide for themselves what is truly “beautiful.”

The contest, running from April through the finals slated for October, is open to all TikTok users, regardless of race, background or gender.

“Brands in beauty need to embrace and celebrate all types of beauty with a community that cares deeply about authenticity,” said Adam Minto, founder of Revolution Beauty.

TikTok is the perfect platform for us to partner with to find the next generation of beauty talent and creativity.
