On thin ice

Copper pokes fun at the often bizarre outfits worn by figure skaters in a new 30-second TV spot for Gordo Snowboard Store that stars one of the Kalamazoo, Mich., agency’s own.

Editor and producer Kyle Maurer, decked out in a pair of figure skating tights, a frilly, ruffled shirt and an ornate bullfighter’s vest, is shown practicing his less-than-skillful moves on the ice. Just when he seems to get the hang of it and is gliding swiftly across the ice, he loses control and crashes into the boards.
