DALLAS–TGI Friday’s is reviewing credentials of nine agencies as it nears a cut to finalists, sources said.

Competitors for the $40 million account include Fallon, Minneapolis; Kirshenbaum Bond Creative Network, New York; The Martin Agency, Richmond, Va.; McCann-Erickson, New York; and the incumbent, Publicis in Mid-America, Dallas. The Dallas based-based casual dining chain plans to make a selection in December. Consultancy Select Resources International, which is managing the review, could not be reached for comment.
