Gerard Broussard was appointed senior vice president of the new Advanced Analytics Group at data-analysis and media-software company Interactive Market Systems. The new business unit will work with clients on a consultative basis, performing customized research, modeling, and consumer targeting and intelligence projects. The Advanced Analytics Group will also help IMS develop new products in a variety of areas, including the Internet and other new media, and in cross-media analysis and media tools that can measure the return on investment and response modeling of advertising dollars. Broussard most recently was senior partner and director of media analytics at OgilvyOne in New York. New York-based IMS is owned by VNU, which also publishes Adweek.
