LOS ANGELES Terminix has entered final negotiations with Publicis in Mid America following a review of the pest-control company’s $30 million ad business, a company representative confirmed.

Dallas-based agency officials declined comment.

The incumbent is independent Stone Ward in Little Rock, Ark.

Terminix had confirmed the review two weeks ago but at that time declined to disclose contenders or discuss other details.

The Memphis, Tenn.-based client spent nearly $30 million on U.S. ads in 2006 and $20 million through August 2007, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
