Ten United Wins Health System

CHICAGO University Hospitals Health System has tapped independent agency Ten United to handle its advertising account after a review, according to the shop.

“Ten United showed us a special spark both in their work and their passion for healthcare. We’re delighted to welcome them aboard as our strategic marketing partner,” said Jeff Boutelle, senior vice president of marketing and communications for the Cleveland network.

The health system had previously used a variety of agencies for its advertising needs, according to a Ten United representative. The system’s tagline is “Advanced care . . . advanced caring.”

Ten United will handle the account at its Columbus, Ohio, and Pittsburgh offices. Contenders for the account were not disclosed.

The University Hospitals Health System is affiliated with Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine in Cleveland. Though the agency estimated billings were in the $10-15 million range, UHHS spent less than $1 million on advertising last year, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
