DALLAS Temerlin McClain chairman emeritus Liener Temerlin will be inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame in March.

Temerlin, 75, began his 50-year career with the Irving, Texas-based agency as a copywriter, when the shop was called Glenn Advertising. Throughout the years and a series of name changes, Temerlin served as president, new business director and chairman of the shop. Upon his retirement in 2001, he was named chairman emeritus.

Currently heading up Temerlin Consulting in Dallas, Temerlin said he was at his desk when he received the letter announcing his induction.
