TelekomNet.com has launched a review for its first advertising agency.
The Cambridge, Mass.-based client, whose Web site offers news and e-commerce capabilities to telecom and networking professionals, plans to spend about $2 million on ads, said Eva Stavropoulos, vice president of marketing. Backing the ad budget is $8 million in funding TelekomNet.com recently received from New York investment banking firm Spencer Trask & Co.
“Ideally, I’d like to have someone local [handle ads], but I’m really looking for the best of the breed,” with strong branding and business-to-business credentials, Stavropoulos said.
