CHICAGO – Stouffer Foods Corp. consolidated its Lean Cuisine business with New York shop Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer Euro RSCG last week. Incumbent Tatham Euro RSCG loses roughly $17 million in billings as a result of the shift. Insiders said that Stouffer wanted one agency to work on all of its Stouffer frozen food business. Messner, a sister agency to Tatham under the Euro RSCG banner, has handled the company’s ‘Red Box’ line. Stouffer has been pushing to get more leverage out of its name on the Lean Cuisine brand.
