SAN FRANCISCO Tacoda Systems, a company that provides behavioral targeting and audience management systems for online advertising, said it has opened an office in San Francisco.

Tacoda, which is headquartered in New York, said the expansion reflects the accelerated growth of its national client base.

The S.F. outpost is helmed by Bill Matthews, who takes the new title vp, Western region publisher sales. He had been president of I/Pro in San Francisco, a Web site traffic-auditing firm.
