Florida-born rapper and frequent pitchman T-Pain adds Lipton to his growing list of brand collaborations, starring in a series of digital videos as a character who drops in unexpectedly on his extended family—for the whole summer.

Good thing he brought along a boatload of cool beverages.

In a parody of classic TV sitcoms from the ’90s, complete with cheesy laugh track, “Have Some Tea With Cousin T” follows T-Pain as he challenges his “uncle” to a barbecue smackdown and entertains the kids on car rides.

Lipton, in its first significant marketing since 2018, chose the Grammy-winning hip-hop artist because of his “upbeat, playful and lovable personality,” according to Chauncey Hamlett, vice president and CMO of parent company PepsiCo Beverages North America, south division.
