SAN FRANCISCO Sun Microsystems will hold early December briefings on the creative portion of its account, sources said today. Work sessions are said to be scheduled for the beginning of January.
According to the Santa Monica, Calif.-based search consultant Select Resources International, the computer company has narrowed its list of agency contenders to six: independents Butler Shine & Stern in Sausalito, Calif., and Godfrey Q & Partners in San Francisco; Grey Global Group’s Grey and MDC Partners’ Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, both in San Francisco; and WPP Group’s Cole & Weber/Red Cell and Interpublic Group’s Sedgwick Rd.,
