Suissa Miller Says Hello To Egreetings

Egreetings Network has tapped Suissa Miller as its agency.
The online provider of digital greetings and gifts selected the Los Angeles shop without a review. Billings on the account are estimated in the $12-15 million range.
The previous agency was Butler, Shine & Stern, Sausalito, Calif., which had handled the account for a little over a year.
The win is Suissa Miller’s second in as many months. Entrepreneur Online awarded its estimated $15 million account to the agency last month [Adweek, Sept. 13].
“[Suissa Miller] combines really top-level strategic thinking with outstanding creative,” said Sarah Anderson, vice president of marketing for Egreetings.
Suissa Miller executives declined to comment.
The agency once worked with Egreetings chief executive officer Gordon M. Tucker when he was president and CEO of Micrografx, a Richardson, Texas-based graphics software developer and publisher.
Egreetings, based in San Francisco and found on the Web at, offers more than 4,400 digital greetings, complete with personalized graphics, animation and music, that users can e-mail for free.
In February, Butler broke humorous online, outdoor and radio ads for the client. The 6-year-old service (formerly known as Greet Street) is looking for a new strategic direction in its advertising.
“Butler, Shine & Stern helped us introduce our brand,” said Anderson. “Our plan is now to take the company in a more strategic direction.”
Anderson is among the new senior management staffers who plan to further integrate greetings and gifts on the Web site. She previously worked at SegaSoft Networks, an interactive video game software company.
Suissa Miller will develop online and offline ads for the company next month.
