NEW YORK Subaru of America will not make a decision until next Wednesday about agency finalists in the review for its $165 million ad account, the client said today.

Subaru representative Mike Whelan said even after a meeting of client executives today, “The group needs to do additional research. There will be no decision today.”

The New York consultancy handling the process for the Cherry Hill, N.J., client, AAR Partners, yesterday identified the finalists as Omnicom Group’s GSD&M in Austin, Texas, its sibling, DDB in New York, and Interpublic Group’s The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va.
