StrawberryFrog in Tech Win

ATLANTA Unisys has selected StrawberryFrog to handle its advertising account, sources said.

The independent New York shop won the account, estimated to be worth $10 million in billings, after a review. The other finalists for the account were MCD Partners’ Margeotes Fertitta Powell and independent M&C Saatchi, both in New York.

The incumbent, WPP Group’s Grey in New York, did not defend the account. Grey won the account in a review in September 2000 and launched a campaign using “Imagine it. Done” as a tagline.

ABA Consulting of Raleigh, N.C., handled the review but declined to comment on the results of the search. Officials with Unisys could not be reached for comment, and StrawberryFrog executives were not immediately available.

The Blue Bell, Pa., client helps companies design and implement integrated IT systems.

Unisys cut measured media spending from $12 million in 2002 to $6 million in 2004 and $3 million last year, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus
