LOS ANGELES Starbucks Coffee has launched a review for creative and media on its $20 million-plus ad account, sources said.

Requests for proposals were due back last month, but no presentations have been scheduled yet, according to sources.

“We do not comment on the specifics of agency searches,” said a representative at Starbucks in Seattle.

Consultant Steve Boehler, founder of the Mercer Island Group in Mercer Island, Wash., is managing the review, sources said. Boehler, a former Procter & Gamble brand manager, declined comment.
