Once home, the likelihood of diving headfirst into a rabbit hole of WebMD and forums for answers—and maybe a little hope, too—is high, and you’re almost guaranteed to dig yourself deeper into confusion and fear. It’s a vicious cycle that is so hard to avoid when you’re just eager for your child to heal.
With a life-changing diagnosis like cancer, what families need most are reliable, easy-to-access spaces to receive and process all of the vital, relevant information. With that in mind, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has collaborated with Adobe to create Together by St. Jude, a trusted, personalized portal for families to receive resources that will help them understand and manage their child’s health.
Powered by Adobe Experience Cloud, the portal gives young patients and their parents access to interactive content specified to their exact needs, making the terrifying transition just a little bit easier.
In a short film from Shareability, parents emphasize just how much a tool like Together helps them to better navigate their child’s condition. “To know that this is from St. Jude, you can trust the information,” one mother tearfully explains. “You can’t measure that.”
It’s not just the availability of the information that makes this platform stand out; it’s also the way this portal enables families to engage with the exact materials they need, which have been curated by medical professionals who are acutely knowledgeable of their child’s condition.
“We launched Together to address precisely this–parents and others impacted by childhood cancer need a resource they can trust, but also to find a helping hand from others who have traveled this same road,” explains Diane Roberts, director of medical content for Patient Outreach at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Adobe will be launching the ad in a targeted campaign across Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
