DALLAS Sprint Business has put its account review on hold, the client confirmed without disclosing the reasons behind the decision.

McCann Relationship Marketing in New York was defending the account against undisclosed contenders, a client representative said.

The Dallas division of the Westwood, Kan.-based telecom spent $25 million on media expenditures in 2001 but just $2 million through October of last year, according to CMR.

Resonance Consulting Group in Newark, Ohio, was overseeing the review.
