Spencer, 34, is its president, recruited by Combs from Vanguarde Media to launch the urban-marketing shop. Three years later, Spencer counts Bacardi and Versace among his clients, and he’s talking to IPG’s McCann-Erickson about a strategic partnership. His marketing philosophy, he says, involves “leading the masses” and “creating a sense of urgency.”
