It’s unclear who’s scamming whom in the case of Danny Rollman, a copywriter at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, and The Sacco Group, an Omaha, Neb., ad agency.

Rollman recently put himself up for auction on eBay by offering to watch the Super Bowl with the high bidder—promising “an insider’s knowledge on the art of producing a great commercial.” He got the idea from a Nov. 19 Shoptalk item about Boone/Oakley in Charlotte, N.C., auctioning two weeks worth of concepting for a Super Bowl spot on eBay.
