Siddall Promotes Grimm, McDonnell to Top Posts

ATLANTA Siddall has a new president and chief operating officer after the promotion of two employees, the agency said.

Karen Grimm, a six-year veteran of the independent Richmond, Va., shop, was promoted to president from senior vice president and executive planning director. There was no president at the shop before her promotion. She will continue as the agency’s executive planning director.

“Karen’s strong management and leadership skills and her brilliant strategic capabilities make her ideally suited to be our president,” said John Siddall, chairman and CEO of the shop.

Roberta McDonnell, a 23-year veteran of the shop, was promoted to chief operating officer, a new position, from senior vice president and head of production. McDonnell will be responsible for the daily management of the agency. She will continue as the shop’s head of production.

“She understands how to balance constant change with the need to exceed client expectations,” Siddall said about McDonnell.

Siddall has 34 employees and more than $30 million in billings.
