ShopKo Narrows Field





GREEN BAY, WIS. – Sources say that ShopKo has narrowed the review for its $8-million business to five or six agencies, including incumbent McDonald Davis & Associates, Milwaukee. Chicago agencies J. Walter Thompson; Bozell; and Bayer Bess Vanderwarker and the Minneapolis office of CME-KHBB are said to be pitching along with one or two other undisclosed agencies. A ShopKo spokesperson would only say the company hasn’t announced finalists. A decision is expected in August.
