The Gambrinus Co. in San Antonio has pulled the $1-2 million ad account for its Shiner beers from Fogarty Klein & Partners, ending a two-year run with the agency.
Fogarty Klein principal Rich Klein said the Houston shop was notified of the client’s decision last week.
“We’ve had creative differences over time, ones we haven’t been able to resolve,” Klein said. “Sales for the brand continue to be very strong. We wish Gambrinus continued success with Shiner.”
Klein said the agency will continue to handle public relations for Shiner and Gambrinus’ Spoetzl brewery.
Representatives of Gambrinus declined to comment last week.
