BOSTON–Interpublic Group agency Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos on Friday elevated Mike Sheehan to the new post of U.S. president, overseeing agency operations in Boston, New York and San Francisco.
Sheehan, 41, had been president and executive cd of the shop’s Boston headquarters. Karen Kaplan, an evp, succeeds Sheehan as president in Boston. A search for a new ecd has begun.
The promotion cements Sheehan’s standing as heir apparent to agency chief executive/chairman Jack Connors, who retains those titles but will now concentrate on overall agency growth.
