Select Comfort Corp. in Minneapolis is contacting agencies about creative duties on its $10 million retail advertising account, sources said. Minneapolis shops have been contacted; it was not clear how widely the company is searching.
The mattress company is looking for an agency with an understanding of retail advertising and with brand-building capabilities, sources said, and hopes to have the review wrapped up by the end of January.
Pam Schectman, the company’s vice president of marketing, is said to be directing the review; she could not be reached for comment.
