Schwartz Bolsters Its High-Tech Cache

BOSTON Independent public relations agency Schwartz Communica-
tions said it has added several high-technology clients in its lead office.

Those assignments, which came aboard over the past few weeks, include companies specializing in fields such as security, biotechnology and healthcare. The wins are important for the agency because they “reflect our continuing strong momentum,” said Steve Schwartz, president of the Waltham, Mass.-based shop.

The additions are: AirDefense, an Atlanta-based LAN monitoring company; BakBone Software in San Diego, a provider of data protection software; DataFlux, Cary, N.C., an SAS business software unit; Imaginatik in Boston, a provider of business software and consulting services; PredatorWatch in North Chelmsford, Mass., an enterprise security management firm; and Workshare, a London-based developer of document and file management applications.
