ATLANTA Atlanta Bread Co. has chosen Scharbo & Co. here to handle its advertising and media buying after a review that began with 10 shops, the company said.

The incumbent, 8th & Means in Atlanta, resigned the $1 million account last October but will continue to work with the company until the middle of February, said Kim Jensen-Pitts, vice president of marketing for the company.

Scharbo lost its biggest client last year when Rare Hospitality of Atlanta switched its $25 million account to Havas-owned McKinney + Silver in Durham, N.C.
