SCC Unveils CrossMedia Campaign

CHICAGO Schafer Condon Carter targets holiday shoppers in its first campaign for CrossMedia Services, which provides Web-to-store marketing.

SCC, a Chicago independent, is backing the company’s Web site,, with a national print and online campaign, which employs a holiday theme and broke earlier this month.

One print ad shows a turkey on its legs, wearing a skirt of tinsel. “Now you can find deals at a store near you in less time than it takes to dress the holiday turkey,” copy reads.

“Research shows that three out of four shoppers go into a store and buy after seeing the retailer’s promotion online,” said Dave Hamel, chief marketing officer for Chicago-based offers store information including sales and promotions to users by city, state and ZIP code.

The agency added the business this year following a review. It is tasked with increasing the number of retailers that use and driving consumers to the site. SCC will also work on site design, the agency said.

Campaign spending was not disclosed.
