Scales Steps Down as CEO

NEW YORK Don Scales, CEO of, has resigned from the interactive shop, an agency representative said.

Scales, who joined the Omnicom Group company in 2001, had served as its CEO since July 2004.

The shop said it hopes to name a successor within a few weeks.

Scales’ future plans are undisclosed, and he could not immediately be reached for comment. placed 12th on Adweek‘s recent ranking of the nation’s top interactive agencies. The shop’s estimated revenue improved to $94.5 million in 2005, compared to $70 million the year before.

The agency employs about 450 staffers.
