Samuel to Direct Production at CP+B

ATLANTA Rupert Samuel has been promoted to director of integrated production at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the shop said.

Samuel helped develop the department earlier this year at the MDC Partners shop in Miami and had been co-director. His promotion follows the departure of David Rolfe, the other co-director, who left this month to join DDB Chicago as director of branded production.

CP+B formed the integrated production department to bridge the gap between traditional and non-traditional advertising. The shop combined its broadcast, interactive production, art buying and business affairs departments to make the new division.

Samuel has been at the shop for more than eight years, in addition to his time there as an intern.

“This is a responsibility that he is more than ready for and which he has certainly earned,” said Alex Bogusky, executive creative director at CP+B. “I feel lucky to have him on our team.”
