Sam’s Club, HMO, Software, Sports Arrive At Makos

Makos Advertising in Austin, Texas, has bulked up on assignments from four new clients, including Sam’s Club stores and a local health maintenance organization.
For Sam’s Club of Bentonville, Ark., Makos will produce in-house videos, including an employee training tape for 450 stores nationwide. United HealthCare of Texas, also in Austin, assigned a direct mail campaign to Makos. Billings for those accounts were undisclosed.
Makos also landed the account of American Innovations, an Austin software firm that provides automated meter reading technology to the utilities industry. The account is worth $400,000 in billings to Makos.
A pro bono assignment for the Greater Austin Sports Foundation has also been added by the agency.
