BOSTON Trahan, Burden & Charles in Baltimore has added marketing chores for the Hair Cuttery family-owned chain of hair salons. The client has more than 900 locations in 16 mainly Eastern and Midwestern states.

The client spent $3 million in measured media last year, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus, and TBC has been tasked with handling integrated services including broadcast, print, interactive and out-of-home advertising. Media planning and buying are also part of the assignment.

“The TBC team fully immersed itself in our business and demonstrated a deep understanding of how to grow our customer base and increase sales,” said Dennis Ratner, CEO of Hair Cuttery, who founded the chain in 1974.
