Gains Presidency, Equity at Houston Shop
DALLAS–Robert Lamons & Associates of Houston has rehired Greg Salerno, a former vice president at the agency in 1992, as its new president.
Salerno will not only share day-to-day oversight of the trade advertising company, but gains an equity share in the 14-year-old agency and will succeed chairman Bob Lamons.
“We were heartbroken in 1992 when Greg left for Alabama, and now we’re extremely fortunate to lure him back,” said Lamons.
“I’ve been working on getting him back for a year, and the only way to get a guy like that is to give him a very special deal.”
Lamons cited Salerno’s value in understanding and marketing technology, a must for a business-to-business advertising agency.
In his earlier five-year stint at Robert Lamons & Associates, Salerno progressed from copywriter to vice president.
