Incumbent Keen To Dispel Any Negative Perceptions
LOS ANGELES–The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has put its estimated $27 million ad account in review–at the urging of the 18-year agency incumbent, R&R Advertising, which is defending.
The unusual request came from the Las Vegas agency’s chief executive officer, Billy Vassiliadis, who is worried about the credibility of his shop and the business.
Vassiliadis has served as a political consultant to Gov. Bob Miller and other politicians, and sources have suggested his political ties have helped him keep a lock on the account.
