LOS ANGELES Kirt Danner has joined RPA as vice president and director of marketing, the agency said.
He replaces Hunter Phillips, who left the Santa Monica, Calif., agency on Sept. 13, 2002, and reports to Tom Kirk, executive vice president and management account director.
Danner began consulting with independent RPA (formerly Rubin Postaer and Associates) in early 2003 while he was director of advertising at Arco. He had hired RPA as the creative agency for Arco’s ampm advertising in 1995, an account that moved to WPP’s Ogilvy & Mather, Culver City, Calif.,
