Rosie and Penny (that would be O’Donnell and Marshall) are back in Kmart spots just in time for Christmas.
Two new TV ads, from Campbell Mithun Esty in Minneapolis, broke Nov. 16, marking the third straight year the two celebrities–and close friends–have been featured in the mass merchandiser’s holiday spots.
“Customers tell us that, as they’re in the midst of their own holiday preparations, they look forward to seeing how Rosie and Penny fare,” said Larry Davis, Kmart’s vice president of marketing.
In one of the two spots, which were both directed by one-time stand-up comic David Steinberg, the duo travels back in time to the Renaissance.
