British clothing retailer River Island is celebrating liberation and friendship in a campaign that anticipates the easing of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions and the carefree summer months on the horizon.

The “Unleash Your Vibe” ad, the first work for the brand by creative agency St Luke’s, features four women dressed in the retailer’s spring-summer collection having fun at an upmarket country hotel.

“So much of what we took for granted suddenly feels so precious and getting these things back is truly liberating,” said Jill Gate, marketing director at River Island.
