Jiffy Lube last week finished the first flight of a $10 million television and radio campaign produced by its new agency, The Richards Group.
The sleek black-and-white television commercials are a departure from those that characterize the automotive maintenance field.
In one spot, buildings and bridges reflect off the highly-polished hood of a sports car that seems to snake around the corners of urban city blocks. When the camera finally pulls back, the vehicle is seen to be traveling on the back of a tow truck.
In another ad, four young men appear to be nodding their heads in time to music.
