BOSTON–The Rhode Island Economic Development Corp. has placed its combined tourism and business development advertising account in review.

The incumbent on the tourism account, Duffy & Shanley in Providence, R.I., will participate in the review, said agency creative director Peter Marcionetti.

FitzGerald & Co. in Cranston, R.I., had handled economic development chores before it went out of business (Adweek, March 24).

Combining the two assignments creates an account with $1.5 million in annual billings, said corporation official Dawn Giles.
