Re:Think Launches Newspaper Drive

BOSTON Re:Think Group next week launches a radio and direct mail campaign designed to drive subscriptions for The Sunday Advocate, a unit of the Tribune Co.’s Southern Connecticut Newspaper Group.

The effort will run through the fall and primarily focus on generating Sunday Advocate subscriptions in the Norwalk and Stamford, Conn., areas. The work is tagged “Don’t miss a day. Don’t miss a thing,” the same positioning line used by the Stamford-based independent agency in image ads for the newspaper group that broke in May.

The new direct effort employs a retro-1970s flavor, complete with psychedelic art direction, vivid color schemes and hipsters sporting Afros and period clothing.
