The Republik in Durham, N.C., has hired Carolin Harris, 29, as art director on the Colony Tire and Fayetteville Tourism accounts. Previously, Harris was a freelance art director working with John Kelly & Associates in San Diego, The Splinter Group of Durham and TC-Gruppe in Stuttgart, Germany. She is also the lead female singer for Raleigh, N.C., indie folk rock band Early Morning Swim.
