Reiss, Jaffe, McCormack Move Up

NEW YORK – Craig Reiss, editor-in-chief of ADWEEK Magazines, last week was named an executive vp of the company. Editorial director Andrew Jaffe was named to the new position of vp/executive editor of ADWEEK Magazines, while Kevin McCormack was made national editor of ADWEEK, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the six regional editions.
‘This title is in recognition of Craig’s ongoing contribution to the management and strategic direction of our business,’ said John Babcock, Jr., president/ceo of ADWEEK Magazines.
Jaffe will be responsible for ADWEEK Magazines’ conferences, new electronic and interactive ventures, licensing, directories and book publishing. He will continue as a columnist. McCormack will now handle the editorial direction of ADWEEK’s six regional editions and report directly to Reiss, who said, ‘Kevin is an exceptional news man, and it is because of his talents that we have been able to make these critical moves. Andrew’s new position will help assure our strategic position for years to come, and he’ll be able to remain my management partner in editorial.’
