Employees of Regnier, Valdez & Associates have purchased the 20-year-old shop from co-founders Claire Regnier and Linda Valdez.

Chuck Eberle, formerly senior vice president, will oversee day-to-day operations as chief executive officer.

Other new partners in the $24 million San Antonio agency include creative director Cat Wilson, vice president of account service Christopher O’Connell, director of public relations Lisa Owens and director of production services Sharon Lozano.

The purchase price was not disclosed, but is expected to be paid out over several years from the agency’s profits.

Regnier was said to be retiring, while Valdez was simply “looking to transition,” according to Eberle.
